Shenzhen Hailei New Energy Co., Ltd. has been named a successful bidder in China Tower’s 2025–2026 centralized procurement of Version 5.0 lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery-swapping products. The company received the award notice from Jiangsu Zhongbo Communications Co., Ltd., with a total awarded value of RMB 543,818,003.10, including tax.

The award marks an important milestone for Haili New Energy’s battery-swapping business and reflects recognition of its product engineering, manufacturing and large-scale delivery capabilities.
Battery swapping is becoming an increasingly important energy-replenishment option for shared mobility, on-demand delivery and electric two-wheelers. Unlike conventional charging, battery-swapping operations often involve frequent battery changes, continuous daily use and exposure to variable operating conditions. These applications demand batteries with robust mechanical protection, reliable performance and intelligent monitoring.
The China Tower project creates further opportunities for Hailei New Energy to expand its battery-swapping business and support infrastructure for lower-emission urban mobility.

Batteries used in intensive swapping operations must withstand repeated insertion and removal, vibration, impact, outdoor exposure and changing temperatures. Hailei New Energy continues to refine its pack structure through features including a die-cast aluminum-alloy top cover, an integrated drawn lower enclosure and a dual-resistance cushioning design. These measures are designed to improve structural strength, protection and impact resistance.
Hailei New Energy’s independently developed battery management system (BMS) monitors key parameters in real time, including voltage, current, temperature, state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH). It also provides multiple layers of protection against overcharging, over-discharging and overheating.
Active cell balancing helps maintain consistency across cells and can contribute to longer service life. When paired with an intelligent cloud management platform, the system supports battery-status monitoring, data analysis, remote maintenance and over-the-air (OTA) updates. Together, these capabilities help operators manage battery fleets more efficiently.

Hailei New Energy operates modern production facilities covering approximately 43,000 square meters, with nine battery production lines, four packaging lines and more than 200 automated machines. Its validation infrastructure includes approximately 1,500 aging-test positions and capacity to conduct aging tests on an average of 3,000–5,000 battery packs per day, including separate high- and low-voltage testing areas.
The company also operates an independent laboratory of nearly 1,000 square meters, with testing capabilities spanning performance, safety and protection. This integrated approach to manufacturing and validation supports consistent product quality across applications.

The China Tower award represents another step in Hailei New Energy’s development in the battery-swapping sector. The company plans to continue investing in product development, quality control and intelligent manufacturing to deliver safer, more reliable and smarter battery solutions for electric mobility and energy infrastructure.
